A little about me…I created Tiny Toes Reflexage becasue of my own experiences with early motherhood, babies with colic and severe reflux left me exhausted and struggling with postpartum.

I now support parents 121 and via social media offering you lots of tips to ease those early discomforts your baby can experience and to support you 🤍

Motherhood is not easy but finding the right support makes a huge difference

When my daughter was born it was the month of Christmas…life is busy for everyone and it can feel a lonely time when you are struggling with the discomfort your baby has.

The solar plexus hold is a great technique to use throughout the day to encourage your baby’s tummy to relax. You can do this hold when cuddling them, feeding them or when they are sleeping.

I used to say I failed at breast feeding my babies…I didn’t fail they were fed. There were struggles, tears and other factors involved in my journey.

It is your choice how you choose to feed your baby, it is your journey. Other peoples opinions do not matter.

Your baby doesn’t produce melatonin until they are around 3-4 months old….these two simple reflexology techniques can aid relaxation to encourage your baby to sleep. In older babies these two techniques can be used before bedtime to help balance their body ready for a good nights sleep 😴✨

✨SLEEP BUTTON ✨

Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland portion of our brains. It helps to regulate our 24-hour sleep-wake cycles, and can be thought of as one of the ‘oils’ that helps the gears of our internal body ‘clock’ run properly.
.
Babies born full-term typically do not yet have a developed ‘clock’ (also known as a circadian rhythm) before 3-4 months old—and this is when a baby’s brain starts producing melatonin.
.
If your baby was born prematurely, they may not start this process until a couple of months later (at ~5-6 months old), depending on how early they were born.
