Emma Baxter, Tiny Toes Reflexage™ Founder

Tiny Toes was founded after Emma’s own life changing experience. Emma was widowed when her son was just 16 months old, after losing her husband suddenly.

After several years juggling her career as an intensive care nurse and life as a single parent, Emma found love again and later remarried. Following a long struggle with infertility, she gave birth to a daughter in 2012. Unfortunately, the first few months were incredibly challenging for them both – her new baby was born with various medical conditions, including seven holes in her heart, and Emma developed postnatal depression.

It was during this time that Emma discovered reflexology and after her first session she was converted! Reflexology not only helped to relieve some of the struggles Emma was facing with her own mental health, she found it also seemed to alleviate the pain her new baby was experiencing.

From that moment, Emma knew that she wanted to help others discover the benefits of reflexology too. After 18 years, she made the decision to leave nursing and retrain in reflexology. Using her professional background and her lived experience to inform her practice, she developed the Tiny Toes Reflexage Technique. Her approved course is available for fellow reflexologists to train in, and the Techniques have reached parents across the UK, Ireland, Canada, and Australia.

Emma lives in Northampton with her son, daughter, husband and gorgeous cockapoo Harry. When she’s not busy running Tiny Toes alongside her adult reflexology business Lavender Room, Emma enjoys photography (you’ll often spot her latest snaps on Instagram). She spends most weekends by the sea and loves paddleboarding, camping and exploring in her van, Daisy.
